Ideas Week 2017 is HERE!

So what is Ideas Week exactly? Ideas Week is dedicated to promoting new, innovative ideas, organizations, and companies in Corpus Christi. Ideas Week Events will be an opportunity to share ideas, solve problems, and find out about the great things happening in our community. Voice your ideas and turn on your creativity!

Kick-off Ideas Week with out first Lunch & Learn of the week! Come hear from Port Commissioner Barbara Canales about the exciting new business and economic development happening through the Port of Corpus Christi. Plus, check-out the new RTA Headquarters! Lunch will be provided. RSVP is REQUIRED.

Texas State Aquarium (2710 N Shoreline Blvd)

The Texas State Aquarium is bringing the sights, sounds and vibrant wildlife of the Western Caribbean Shores to Corpus Christi. Come trek through a tropical jungle and Mayan Ruins to encounter flamingos, crocodiles, bats, and more BEFORE the official opening. Dive into the Caribbean Sea among tropical fish, squid, and colorful coral. Visit the H-E-B Caribbean Shark exhibit where you’ll be surrounded by reef sharks. Tour begins prompt at Noon. Lunch provided by the Texas State Aquarium. RSVP is REQUIRED.

Get fired up for a behind-the-scenes tour of a CCFD station.
We’ll start with a tour of an operating fire station, get our hands on fire firefighter gear, climb on an engine, then enjoy lunch with the crew. Fire stations save lives everyday…get a glimpse of what it takes to be a fire fighter in the Corpus Christi Fire Department! Lunch will be provided…RSVP is REQUIRED.

Friday, April 28th

Whataburger Field (734 E Port Ave)

As the Corpus Christi Hooks begin their 13th season, go behind-the-scenes of Whataburger Field with a 360 concourse tour, including stops in the press box and Hooks dugout. We’ll end the tour with lunch on the VIP Deck, sponsored by Kleberg Bank and Hurricane Alley Waterpark. RSVPs are REQUIRED.

Come near and far to sail the Corpus Christi bay with the Young Business Professionals! We will join seasoned sailors to learn the ins-and-outs of an all too familiar Corpus Christi recreational activity, as well as participate in the Wednesday night sailing races. Jibe, tack, and join us for this special event!
